Running Record

The student being assessed had many errors in this particular passage. He seemed to not think through the words that he was reading and instead rushed through the passage which led to him making mistakes in both visual and syntax errors. He seemed to self correct quiet a bit considering on some words he would produce grammar mistakes and other would not. He also went back and corrected his error when he realized that he knew the word. If the student had slowed his pace when reading, he would have performed highly on this evaluation!
