Using Digital Stories To Improve Student Literacy

This video displays a teacher using google docs within her classroom. There was a substantial difference in the confidence of student writing skills from before the implementation of technology and after. We hear from the students directly about how this change in the literacy lesson shifted their feelings of writing! This video is both inspiring and informative, I was completely in awe of how much one technology program could influence a child's attitude towards writing. After watching this video, I personally will implement google docs into the classroom with any literacy lesson to help a child feel confident about their work as well as use it for multiple purposes such as peer revisions, self corrections, parent- teacher conferences, formative assessments of the students literacy targets and more!
