Tech Literacy: Exploring Tools Through Content

This video takes you through a school in Lexington, Michigan that has shown a a significant difference in literacy levels through the implementation of technology. Many of the students have improved their skills in writing and story telling as well as their vocabulary with technology! This video was very inspiring considering it takes you inside the classroom and displays how excited students are becoming when it comes to reading because the technology is connecting with them on a new level. I personally connected with this video and was very inspired considering these students are taking something that use on a daily basis and are implementing academia through it. I was in awe when they showed students downloading apps and creating their own videos to tell personal stories and even add recordings of themselves reciting the dialogue that they created.
